Canchero:
adj. Ducho y experto en determinada actividad.
My friend Lorena called me canchero yesterday. Referring to the way I was dressed, she said "Disco, sos tan canchero."
The root of the word is cancha as in cancha de fútbol, and really means a skilled player.
Dapper is about as close of an English word I could come up with for this usage.

Disco, canchero también puede leerse como cool. Especialmente cuando se refiere a que uno se viste canchero.

canchero is really common. you will also hear "fachero" meaning the same thing. "che sos re fachero loco" saying you're cool, or you can say that someone "tiene facha" It literally means someone's aspect, or the way they project themselves and that others perceive them to be cool. I like this blog as well! :)
